Verixa Editorial Policy — how we research, write, and review cricket content
Editorial policy
How we research, write, fact-check, and correct content on Verixa — so you know exactly what you're reading and where it comes from.
Our editorial standards
Every piece of content on Verixa — whether a stat page, player profile, or article — is held to three principles: accuracy, clarity, and fairness. We don't publish to fill space. We publish when we have something accurate and useful to say.
How content is created
All content on Verixa goes through a consistent process before it is published.
Data sources
Accuracy in cricket statistics starts with reliable source data. We are transparent about where our numbers come from.
Ball-by-ball statistical data on Verixa is sourced from Cricsheet, an open cricket data project that provides structured, freely available match data. Cricsheet is widely used by cricket researchers, analysts, and developers worldwide.
Independence
Verixa is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with the BCCI, ICC, or any official cricket body. Our editorial decisions are made independently, without influence from advertisers, sponsors, or third parties.
Where advertising appears on Verixa, it does not influence the content we publish. Sponsored content, if ever present, will always be clearly labelled as such.
Corrections policy
We take accuracy seriously. If you spot a factual error — an incorrect statistic, a misidentified player, or a claim that doesn't hold up — please let us know. We will review it promptly and correct it where warranted.
Corrections to published content are made inline, with the original publish date retained and a note indicating the content was updated.
